June in Review

Phoenix55 Fostering Service and their events throughout the month of June

The month of June aka Pride Month was a busy one for Phoenix55 Fostering Service.

To start things off we have some new merch! We have some fabulous branded rubber band bracelets to give away at events and speaking of events we kicked things off with a stall at Parafest, North Wales’ first flying and music festival. Parafest was certainly memorable as the weather was awful beginning with the rain and the strong gusts of wind and hail stones, our poor gazebo was battered something terrible.

Next, we attended our second pride event of the year, Caernarfon Pride which was fortunately indoors! Caernarfon Pride had such an amazing array of charities and stallholders and was an amazing opportunity to make so many connections with so many fabulous people. We also had a great catch-up with the Foster Wales team from Gwynedd who as always were such a pleasure to see and talk to.

And to wrap the month up we had a day full of sunshine at the Gwrych Castle artisan market which was another great event and we had the pleasure of meeting a lot of dogs who became greatly acquainted with our treat and water station.

That’s all for now folks! We have a couple of exciting things happening throughout July so check back in in a week or so!
